Herculaneum

Vesuvius

A walk along the Decumano called Spaccanapoli through noble buildings, churches, commercial and cultural activities.
Starting from Piazza del Gesù, example of Neapolitan Baroque architecture, the visit will include the Church of New Jesus and Santa Chiara, annexed to the homonymous complex of the charming Chiostro Maiolicato, Piazza San Domenico Maggiore where the Church of San Domenico Maggiore is located. Across the square you will reach the famous and marvellous Cappella Sansevero that houses the “Veiled Christ”, a most remarkable marble sculpture. At the end of the tour, a free visit to San Gregorio Armeno, also known as Christmas Alley, is scheduled.
